Epcot

Our next stop on our Florida adventure was Epcot. I love Epcot. It is a ton of walking but it is worth it. They have what the call World Showcase. It is a fun place where you virtually get to travel to all different countries. They have Mexico, Norway, Italy, Japan, Canada, France, and a few others. Each country is decorated like that country would be. They have stores and shops that sell things you would find in that country plus they have movies to watch that help you learn more about it. Each country have crafts and games for kids. I would definitely say World Showcase is something that older kids and adults would enjoy. They also have food from all the countries. Of course I had to eat at Mexico since it is my favorite, but we did eat some gelato in France. In addition to World Showcase, Epcot has all the rides just like the other parks. One of our favorite rides ever is at Epcot-- Soarin. They also have it at California Adventure in California. It rocks!! You virtually para sail over California. Love it! Will also love Mission Space. You get to literally feel what the astronauts feel and it is amazing. Last time we went there Brett got a little sick, so this time we did the less intense version.(no spinning) It was fun. We also discovered a new favorite-- Test Track. You are basically in a race car on a race car track going at very fast speeds. It is known for being the longest fastest attraction in Disney history. It was a hit! We only went once because it also had the longest wait. Here are some pictures.

Us in front of Spaceship Earth-- Awesome Ride!

Right before a little thundershower moved in!

We visited Canada at World Showcase. I have a new excitement for Canada since my brother is going there on his mission.

It will be beautiful there! We would love to go visit while he is there!

Brett in front of the Soarin sign. Love that ride!

I can't remember which country but I thought it was cool!

Brett loves Japan!

Look who I found at World Showcase.

Did I grow up or has Mickey shrunk?

Nemo and Friends

I found Nemo!

We thought these were nifty!

Awesome Ride!

Epcot has a ton of greenhouses you can ride a boat and see. They grow everything!I want one in my backyard please!

These were my delish nachos from Mexico. Sorry I ate a few before the picture but I'm sure you get the idea. These and a diet coke-- what more could a girl ask for?

On our way out! Goodbye for now Epcot!

Hollywood Studios

Our next adventure was at Hollywood Studios. This was the day of rain. Just a couple hours after we arrived at the park there was a major downpour that lasted about a half hour. When it rains in Florida it rains! Hence I didn't get as many pics that day because we looked like wet dogs a lot of the day. It stayed cloudy a good part of the day and I just left my camera in the pack most of the time. Hollywood Studios is a lot like Universal Studios. There are a lot of different shows you can go see. It is also home to my very favorite ride, Tower of Terror. I could go on that ride over and over again. I don't scream I just laugh uncontrollably. They take a picture of you right when the ride starts to drop and in every picture I was laughing and Brett was screaming. It was hilarious! Here are a few of the shots we did get.

I loved this Coke set up. Too cute!

Rock N Roller Coaster is Awesome! It had the longest wait, but we went twice!

My favorite! I smile just thinking about this ride:)

The American Idol Experience was Awesome! It was just like being in the audience of the real American Idol. And I must say the talent was great. We got seats on the second row so I could see great. We ended up going back that night for the finale show and it was so much fun. I tried to get Brett to try out, but he said he was on vacation and he didn't want to stress:(

It's hot!! I definatly think you should get it!

My overall opinion of Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom

We have been home from Florida now for three weeks and I have been procrastinating this post due to the overwhelming amount of photos I took and knowing I needed to go thru and figure out which ones to post. I couldn't decide which ones, so I decided to do a top ten list. The following are not necessarily the best photos we took, but they are the ones that show a few of our favorite things about the Magic Kingdom.

#1- The Castle-- The place where dreams come true! At night the castle is awesome. It turns colors. It started raining the first night right when the light parade was to start, so I didn't get a good nighttime picture of it. Instead you get to see me and my man in front of it.

#2- M-i-c-k-e-y- of course! It wouldn't be the Happiest Place on Earth without this cute little guy. I do have to say he is still one of my Disney favorites!

#3- Gamma Banana- What is that you might ask. One of the most divine drinks on the face of the planet. Especially when it is 95 degrees plus humidity. It tastes similar to a banana Popsicle. Sorry you get my crazy face, but you get the point. It was Yummo!

#4- Pirates- Brett and I both love this ride. It is extra cool now they have redone it and added Jack Sparrow.

#5- Fastpass
- Fastpass is the only way to go! We love it! Without Fastpass we wouldn't have been able to go on all the rides we wanted to. I totally recommend it if you go!

#6-Space Mountain
-Rock and roll music, darkness, and totally high speed roller coaster, need I say more?

#7- Minnie Mouse's House- one of the only places in the world where I actually feel tall! Love it! Minnie is definitely a girl after my own heart. She it totally girly! The only thing that would make it better is to have a little girl to take inside! I don't think Minnie's house is on Brett's top ten.

#8- The Tea Cups!- believe it or not we actually went on these at the insistence of Brett! He is crazy on these things! It was almost impossible to snap this picture because we were spinning so fast. Needless to say I was a little sick after this adventure!

#9- Splash Mountain- it seems harmless at first, and then comes the big drop. Due to the heat in Florida I actually enjoyed getting a little wet on this one!

#10- This guy!- Last but not least, my favorite part about my Magic Kingdom adventure was sharing it with this guy. It was awesome spending our 10th anniversary at the happiest place on earth. It was a magical day. Can you tell he got a little tired of smiling for the camera?

Meet us!

Hey there! This is a blog we have created to post on as we journey thru the adoption process. We will try to post things that will help you get to know a little more about us, and memories and feelings we have thru this amzing experience. Our profile was just posted yesterday on LDS Family Services. We are excited to have all of that behind us! What an experience! We fill like we have divulged every detail of our lives, but we realize that is all part of the process that will hopefully lead us getting a sweet little baby in our lives. It will definately be worth every minute! We are so thankful for Heavenly Father and his plan, and for him giving us the strength to get us to this point. Thanks again for stopping by.
